Education and training in laboratory animal science are both essential and a legal requirement for all those who need to undertake procedures on laboratory animals (Function A) for their research. The course is designed to meet the learning outcomes specified in the EU Education and Training Framework to fulfil the legal demands as set out by the Directive 2010/63/EU and by the Swedish legislation L150 (SJVFS 2019:9). This web-based course (e-learning) includes education for EU modules 1-7 (theory) and EU modules 3.2, 6.2 and 8 (practical skills for minor procedures).
